Nita Adams retired from the State of Illinois in 2001 after working for the state for 24 years. Her last position was Director of Division of Administrative Services with Department of Professional Regulation. Nita has been a member of AITP since 1980, serving as Capitol Chapter President in 1985. She served as Chapter Liaison and on the Region 5 BOD from 1995 and 1996. She earned her Lifetime IPA Award in 2001 and has since earned Lifetime Gold and Emerald Awards.
Nita was also active in the Internal Auditing Association serving as the Springfield chapter president in 1989-1990.

Ken Adams retired from Horace Mann Insurance Companies in 1996 after working for 36 years. His last position was Assistant VP Systems Development and Support. Ken has been a member of AITP since 1969. He served two terms as Capitol Chapter President (1978-1991). Ken was AITP Region 5 President in 2003 and 2004. He served as the AITP Association representative on the ICCP Board of Directors 2006 and 2007. He earned his Lifetime IPA Award in 2002.
Ken was also active in the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association serving as the Central Illinois Chapter President 1991-1992.

In July of 2008 I changed jobs from Technology Facilitator at Springfield High School to Technology Coordinator of the Sangamon County Regional Office of Education. My interests are Geographic Information Systems and web page design. I am married with two children.
