AITP Capitol Chapter will offer opportunities for Information Technology (IT) leadership and education through partnerships with industry, government and academia. AITP provides quality IT related education, information on relevant IT issues and forms for networking with experienced peers and other IT professionals.
AITP Capitol Chapter will continue to strive to be the organization of choice for IT Professionals, students and others interested in beginning, maintaining or excelling in their Information Technology careers for central Illinois.

The AITP roots begin in the 1950s by a group of technically minded people who saw that technology was moving so fast that there would be a need for technically minded people like themselves to have a users group as a resource they could turn to in order to keep ahead.
